imagine a different world of grilled cheese is devoted to all things grilled cheese: homemade recipes, news, and fun stories. After reading, you will come to realize that grilled cheese sandwiches can be much more than two pieces of bread and a slice of cheese.
I originally created this blog to vent but really, how exciting is that? Not very. As time went on I began using the site for my A Photo A Day project which showcased my photography. I have since stopped that project, but continue to upload photos here and there. Now, my focus and this blog’s focus has turned to cooking and grilled cheese sandwiches. I will be using this blog as a way to show off my recipes and sandwiches.
Who exactly am I, you may ask? I am Shane Kearns (aka Sanford Kearns) and I live in the great state of Ohio. Sure, not everyone thinks Ohio is great, but I do. I have been interested in cooking and grilled cheese for as long as I can remember. As my obsession with the grilled cheese sandwiches grew, I decided to cook a new, mostly original grilled cheese sandwiches each and every Sunday night and post the ingredients/photos online. I call it Sunday Dinners.
You may still be asking, why grilled cheese? Why the obsession over a sandwich that consists of only bread and cheese? Well, with being Jewish and keeping Kosher, grilled cheese sandwiches are very versatile and allow me to keep my diet. And as you will find out by reading this blog, a grilled cheese sandwich is much, much more than bread and cheese.
