Way back when, on April 3, 2007, I began a project that I called A Photo A Day with the photo above. The concept was extremely simple: take one photo each and every day. That ran on for months and even over a year. I did not miss one day. I really did have great discipline…making sure that everyday I had taken at least one photo.
However, over the past few months, I have neglected going through the photos for each day. I was lazy in actually taking a photo. Most days, I took a photo in the 11 o’clock hour, photographing something random in the house just so I could say I had a photo. My heart was not in it, like it was when I first started this project.
Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that it is time for me to retire the A Photo A Day project. Unfortunately, I have not gone out on top but maybe one of these days I will resurrect the project when I can once again give 100%.
