Wiz’s Haywood says LeBron should stop complaining about rough play
CLEVELAND — Overrated hasn’t worked. Now one of the Washington Wizards is calling LeBron James another name: Crybaby.
…“I mean, come on man, this is the playoffs,” [Brendan] Haywood said following Monday’s practice. “He wears 23, he wants to be Michael Jordan, I can respect that, he’s a great player. You saw what Mike went through. Mike got fouled way worse than this. No one is trying to hurt him, everybody is trying to play basketball, trying to play tough. Play basketball and leave it alone.”

Long lines await customers in search of 23-cent pizzas
It’s pizza pandemonium.
By 9 a.m., Clevelanders were lining up outside Papa John’s for their 23-cent pies.
At a University Heights store, elderly women came prepared with walkers and a lawn chair. By 10 a.m., when unruffled employees flipped on the “Now Baking” neon light and opened the doors, hundreds of pizza-hungry people swarmed the parking lot and lined up around the block.
Dana Zielinski, 50, first in line, brandished a quarter as he stepped up and ordered a large sausage.
There were so many cars even the police were out to direct traffic.
Would you honestly stand in a line this long for a 23-cent PAPA JOHN’s pizza?
It was approximately 5:30/6:00 PM when I took this picture so this all could have been rush-hour traffic.
…………but, I highly doubt that.
Make sure to look at the larger version of this one. Yes, those young girls are in fact posing.
Wouldn’t you have been bored after standing in line for so long?
Some say that the police were only around because of the gas leak right near the Papa John’s.
I think otherwise.
Come on, all that isn’t rush-hour traffic!
Police nearby to ensure long lines don’t become unruly
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — Maybe Cleveland Cavaliers fans can hope for cheap gas if an oil company insults All-Star LeBron James.
Lines were so long Thursday at some of the 86 Papa John’s stores offering a large one-topping pizza for 23 cents that police stood nearby to make sure people didn’t get unruly.
The Louisville, Ky.-based company agreed to the offer after a franchisee in Washington, D.C., made T-shirts calling star LeBron James a “crybaby.” The shirts referred to James’ complaints about hard fouls during a playoff series that the Washington Wizards lost to the Cavaliers.

Papa John’s running out of pizza; promotion may end by dinnertime
Better get in line quick.Papa John’s stores will likely sell out by dinnertime, the chain says. And once they’re out of pizza, you’re out of luck.
They’re not giving rain checks on the 23-cent deal.
“We’re certainly a bit surprised about how darn popular this is,” said Tim North, vice president of the company’s northeast division.
Best quote of the day highlighting the American way. Papa John’s offers 23 cent pizzas to everyone and this person is angry…
The Euclid shop handed out about 150 vouchers starting at 8:25 p.m. because the store could not guarantee all in line would get pizzas, said Jimmy Delonte, director of operations.
“I’m tired and want to go home,” said Dorothy Finnley of Euclid, who took the voucher, which is good for a one-topping pizza for 23 cents until Sunday.
The last pizza was sold to Kimberly Hall, who drove from East 131st Street in Cleveland. She stepped in line at 5 p.m.
“I’m going home to eat my pizza,” she said.
“But now I’m not even hungry. I’m mad. They should have organized this better.”
