After running to the Q to purchase Blue Man Group tickets, mom and I headed to Crocker Park for their 2008 Ice Festival. It was fun to go take a look but not as exciting as I had hoped. When we arrived, there were 5 ice sculptures pieces being completed in the final contest of the festival. The one above took home 3rd place, losing out to a football player and a rock star.
Simon Trickster Makes Pretty Colors

My nephew Nate was playing with the new improved Simon, now known as Simon Trickster (has 4 modes: classic, rewind, bounce and surprise), when I realized that if I turned off the lights in the room, used a long exposure and moved Simon around real fast, the Simon would make an awesome photo.
This is the product of that experiment. I think it worked out pretty well…what do you think?
