On my way out the door of the office today, I heard that chirping again, and again. As I did yesterday, I ran to my car, switched lenses and snapped away at the resident cardinal. However, unlike yesterday, the cardinal decided not to sit still so I could take its picture. I was able to snap a couple good photos, but it was much more difficult with him flying from branch to branch and limb to limb. There would be no repeat cardinal picture today, so I had to think of a new idea.
On my way home, I noticed that my driver-side mirror was extremely dirty and extremely speckled. I have been driving through construction everyday, and have yet to actually get off my butt on the weekends to wash my car. My feeling at this point is, why clean it now, it is only going to get dirty again tomorrow.
Anyways, I thought, hey, that dirt might make a great photo, if I was close enough where you couldn’t actually tell that it was dirt on a mirror. I got home, put on the correct lenses, and zoomed in close enough on the mirror. Luckily, I took a couple where the actual mirror was not visible, or that would have ruined the whole idea. I believe that this is something different, a nice change of pace. Hopefully you like at as well…Enjoy!
