Approximately 2 years ago, in April, Solon, OH received 14 inches of snow. Our house made the news, and our dog was a star. Everyone believed this to be a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. Fast-forward to today when that once-in-a-lifetime occurence has been repeated. Over a 3 and probably 4 day span. Snow, snow and even more snow.
Yesterday the Indian’s home opener was snowed out after many delays. Try #2 today, a day/night doubleheader, was cancelled before one player stepped on the field. Try #3 tomorrow, a traditional doubleheader, could possbily suffer the same fate as today’s. [read more @ ESPN.com]

I worked today 12-830 at Nordstrom at Beachwood Place in Beachwood, OH. In that 8 1/2 hour span, my car was covered in 4 inches of snow. The parking lot was covered in twice that if not more. Out the window, I saw at least 5 whiteouts, if not more.

Remember, this is April, and Easter is tomorrow, not December and Christmas.
Although the last two A Photo A Day photos have involved the snow, it seemed so pertinent and timely that I couldn’t pass it up. Today’s photo features spring being taken over by winter.
